I found many people joining this preparation class for this reason: that they took a break after school for one year (for many different reasons) and that means, it has been quite a long time since they have learned something, so they take this class to refresh all of the stuffs they have learned. In my university, the class is held for 4 weeks, a long time right? Buut, not every universities have this preparation class and if they do, the duration might be various depending on your own uni.
